Learn about hot glass and cool art. This is the land of the famous Chihuly. Special programs for slightly older kids i assume. Kids can draw designs and enter a competition. Selected designs will be made by a glass artist and sent on exhibition around the world.

Seattle center

Has a lot of different cultural events, concerts. The space needle (not recommended for kids) and EMP are all part of this complex. Every city needs an amusement park too.

Seattle public wading pool

What a nice idea. Save water. Public pools take the equivalent of 50 private pools and serve a few hundreds.

Snoqualmie falls

This is a beauty. About 45 minutes outside of town, but well worth the drive. Don’t miss the train ride after you have been to the falls.

Ferry and the water taxi

This is a cheap way to have fun being in the water and see amazing views. People use these everyday to come from several islands.

Ferries leave from pier 50 and 52. Water taxi leaves from 51 55. I hear its cheaper to buy the round trip (or transfer ticket).
